'It all began ten years ago, on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. While traveling with my girlfriend, we slept exclusively in traditional hammocks and, though they were comfortable, unfortunately they were heavy, hard to pack, somewhat fragile and difficult to clean. For all those reasons and many more, I decided to design a more practical type of hammock made from nylon and silk parachute material. However, over the years my design has gained popularity and a devoted following. Try one and you'll soon realize just how great they are.'

"I love this hammock. It's amazingly light and packable, making it perfect for hike-in camping. I've put up eyehooks all over the deck and my kids love lounging in it. I've even run it through the wash and despite the racket in the dryer from the metal hooks, it came out clean after a food spill. Colors are a bit gaudy, but the blaze orange is handy in case you forget where you hung it in the woods I suppose"

"I love this hammock. The perfect way to spend a lazy day. It is really comfortable, and I love that it tucks away in its own pocket, so its ready to go camping with me. I intend to buy more to give as gifts."
