"I gave this camera to my grandson and his girlfriend for Christmas and they were very excited. They started taking pictures right away and didnt have any trouble operating it. It looks good and well constructed for many years of use. I'm thinking of getting one myself next time. The kit that came with it was so complete that they don't have anything else to buy for a while."

"I got the "refurbished " camara... It would have gotten 5 stars but it was missing a primary cable that it said it would include...so be careful to itemize everyting out of the box and make sure it is all there... no...real biggee though... I am pretty dumb at anything with camara's computers electronics as a whole (must be my age ...Ha) but, this was fairly easy to follow (even me!) I read the manual... and was able to figure every thing out... I am now about to take all types of pictures with the camara and it does fairly well, far as clarity ect...I am starting to get excited able photagraphy just because, this has wet my appetie for it... I had gotton a cam corder earlier (Not from overstock ) and still can't figure the thing out ... I have to pay for someone to train me on it... and this is what the people said that .. each camcorder is so different that they have to famulierize themselves with it first before they even can begin to show me how it works... I was hoping to be able to take still photos with the camcorder..(digatal) and thereby not need to get a camara ( save money nope...wrong) I am glad I have gotten the camara though ..I have kids and gran kids in Holland and it's fun to send pics on the internet... this works so easily too with SD card and all.. Go ahead and get yourself one.. I am think of getting my mom (who is like me when it comes to gagetry) this camara... I really think she could run it!!! Good Price ... Good product... Good pics!!!"

"I will admit to having been slightly worried about purchasing a 'refurbished' product. There was no difference except for receiving an out standing price. An excellent, light camera that's very easy to use. Good quality pictures and when you use the mode dial, it tells you on screen what mode you're in. A feature I found extremely helpful as I can never remember what all those little symbols mean. If you need to perform heavy duty editing, (I do extreme close up shots of jewelry), or need to add special effects, you may want to keep your favorite editing software on hand but for standard leisure picture taking the camera software is just fine. Final word: I love this little camera."
