"I've only ever used O.S. two or three times, and have never written a review. But I've used others' reviews to help me with my purchases, to I figured that I should return the favor.
This machine is GREAT!!!! I'm so happy that I bought it. I didn't want a big thing that takes up half of a room, and I wanted something that would make me work and break a sweat. I also wanted something that is adjustable in difficulty level. I keep it in a tiny sewing/tv room, so I also wanted to be able to pull it out of the way when I'm not using it.
It has met all of my hopes, and surpassed them! It has a very smooth motion that is easy on the joints, but that definitely makes me work. Not having something for my arms to hold on to hasn't been a problem at all. I actually bought a hand weight so that I could pump a little bit while my legs are working. I've only had it for two weeks, and notice a big difference already in my leg muscles. I have no idea if the calorie-counter is representative of how many calories I'm actually burning, and I don't care. I just use that number for goal-setting -- so far, I've made myself increase my total by 15 each time I've used it.
It's perfect for me! The cost is less than two months at a gym, and I use it more conveniently and consistently than I would use a gym. I just trot upstairs!! I know that the convenience will make it easy for me to continue using it. Excellent purchase!"

"I purchased the elliptical for home use, it works really well, and I have been using it almost daily. Two days ago, I discovered the digital display stopped working properly, I thought it was the battery, I replaced it with a new one, and it still did not work. When I contacted them about the issue, I was told that it could not be replaced."

"I wanted an elliptical machine to help me burn calories. I just wanted to be "active" and not spend $2K on a fancy machine that I may not use or like. This machine is decent for the price. It was easy to put together. I put it together by myself while my husband watched. The price is GREAT compared to what you would normally pay for an elliptical machine. It's cute and easy to transport around the house. I move it from the basement to the family room, depending on where the action is in my house for that day!
Two reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: (1) It feels pretty ackward at first to use an elliptical machine without bars. This will take some getting used to but in a day or two it will grow on you. I just move my arms as if I'm running or jogging. (2) The pedal stride is not very wide. It feels like you are taking baby steps BUT you will sweat!
Overall I would recommend for quick cardio purposes and easy storage."

"After reading the reviews I decided on this compact elliptical. It's great, doesn't take up a lot of space and really does give a good workout. After looking at full sized machines that were very expensive this little compact machine seems to do just fine...a great value for the money. I would recommend this to anyone and will order one for my mom to keep her going as it's easier on the knees than a treadmill and it's much more mobile..."

"This is a compact unit that fits easily in my TV room and can be pushed to the side when company comes over. Get yourself a couple of 5-10 lb dumbells to increase the impact and you'll get your heartrate going. Love it."

"I was disappointed the machine had an one and a half inch crack near the LCD panel. I debated on returning it but figured at such a reasonable price it would not be worth the trouble. If you are limited in space, this would be a great machine to have. It feels a little weird when you first use it because of the short stride, but after a few minutes you become accustom to it. Also, amazingly enough, it is quite quiet."

"This is great small piece of exercise equipment that can stay out in the living room and not look like terrible. It is easy enough to hop on frequently and do a few 100 steps in front of the TV without even thinking of it as exercise. The family actually argues over who gets to use it."

"Convenient and small, it's very handy to jump on for a few minutes here and there (or do all at once) and takes up shockingly little space. Perfect for those with no time or room to work out in their home. I like that the tension is adjustable. This is probably not a good option for those who are particularly athletic unless they are not able to stay in motion any other way. I find it easy to keep my balance and use weights for my arms at the same time."
