"I know many of the reviews for this flatware set were excellent, but I still had my doubts as I am admittedly overly fussy. The weight of each piece is well balanced in your hand. The edges of each piece are nicely rounded and highly polished, the finish on my two sets was flawless (not necessarily the case with higher end flatware I've handled).The resting position of the knife is with the blade vertical - it is designed so a very small area, high up on the non business end of the blade is in contact with your table. The shape of each piece is a bit exaggerated and they are a slightly larger than I expected but all in all a SUPER buy and fine quality. One flatware box comes with each set, I found one box held two sets easily."

"I have been looking for new silverware for sometime and have been comparing prices. When I saw this product and read the features I really liked the looks of it. I loved it when I first got it but after using it a few times I noticed the silver scratched easily. I may be overly picky but I noticed the scratches on some of the pieces and felt disappointed because it happened so quickly. It's not really horribly scratched but enough that it is noticable because the silverware is very shiny. Being the 20/10 gauge stainless steel I expected more durability. The caddy is very nice. The price was good but the quality isn't what I expected."

"After lots of researched and looking for something that we can use everyday and also when guests come over , I decided to ordered this set of flatware because of the great reviews. I ordered them Sat night and they arrived at my door on Tues very well packaged...amazing! I opened them up and instantly fell in love with them. If you are looking for beautiful clean design with the right weight to it, this is it. They came out of the dishwasher just as beautiful. "This flatware set is an excellent buy. It is sturdy for everyday use, but elegantly designed so that it can compliment formal dinnerware. I find it well balanced and attractive, the combination of utility and style. The knives, being "90 degrees out of phase", are unique in design, but sit nicely on the edge of the plate rather than straddling across it. I find it a nice feature."

"As noted by another reviewer, some of the paperwork that comes with the set says "18/8" stainless while the overstock.com listing says18/10. Good news! Each piece of flatware (except the knives, which have no marking) actually is stamped "18/10". After reading the earlier review, I was resigned to getting a slightly lower grade stainless, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it really is 18/10! The pieces all look and feel solid and smooth. The style seems pretty timeless and they look like they'll last forever (although I can't rate durability yet since I just got these). One of my criteria for new flatware was for it to have all smooth edges (as opposed to the stuff that is apparently stamped from sheet metal). It was hard to tell from the photos, but in person this set definitely meets my criteria. I can't wait to start using them!"
