"My friends are all on the Blu-Ray/HDMI/Ultimate system kick. I really wasn't into it and didn't want to commit to the expensive stuff, but I did want to know if there truly was a difference. I picked up this cable and it is awesome. I can equate it to one time when I was about fifteen and got a new glasses perscription. Thing were too clear, I didn't like it at first, but once my eyes adjusted I couldn't believe how much I was missing. Mine is hooked to my cable box, I wish my DVD player was HDMI compatible so I could check that out!! I don't have any sound problems like the other reviews, but that's not to say they don't exist. I do know that Overstock is good at replacing stuff, so I wouldn't worry too much about it."

"I had purchased an HDMI cable from another store for a whopping 44 dollars. It worked beautifully, but I started to wonder if I could get an equivalent cable for less. Well, here it is.I have it running between the receiver and the PS3, and it's working just fine. It is POSSIBLE that the picture might be SLIGHTLY better with a different cable, but the picture is still impressive and works fine, especially for this price. I really doubt you'd even notice the difference (if there is one). The sound quality is great too.My one complaint: I bought two of these cables, and during the course of moving some equipment around the gold end popped right off the end of one cable. The soldering just didn't hold. It seems that the soldering wasn't very strong. I probably put it under some stress without realizing it, though, and so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cable for a good value.Oh, and I returned the 44 dollar cable!"

"It's an HDMI cable, and it works just fine. I haven't noticed any radio interference in using it, and I have about every possible electronic device plugged up where I'm using the cable. So if you're considering other, more expensive cables, I don't think they are necessary. I've got it plugged into a 720p television, so maybe there might be a difference for 1080p, but for my purposes it works perfectly. A great value"
