"I am a Coach, Dooney, Louie, kind of gal, but not any more! This handbag looks just as good as any of these! The price does it no justice! Great looking leather, roomy... I have gotten great compliments from other women I know only who swear by designers. When I tell them where and how much I paid for this lovely bag, their mouths fly open! I ordered the dk brown first, and later ordered a black one. The snaps will pop open.. you can superglue them down.. minor issue. Also, watch how you lay it down the cute little brass buttons will get scratched. minor issue! Better grab one.. two.. three.. Smile!"

"This bag is of amazing quality and looks so nice. It is pretty big, but still has structure and is perfect if you like big bags. I think this bags LOOKS and FEELS so expensive. I bought it in black and will buy it in brown too!"

"Well to use a slang phrase,"this purse gets three snaps up" but the snaps that are on the purse come undone too often. I am hoping that super glue will fix the problem.The leather is great, the purse is roomy,it has convenient pockets on the inside for cell phone storage, and a nice zipper storage both on the inside and outside of the purse. All in all I really like the purse and would/will order others from this manufacturer.I have gotten several compliments as well."

"I bought the brown bag and the color was a gorgeous deep brown chestnut. From the sound of the reviews, it appears the color of the brown may vary by the bag. The bag was a bit larger than I thought it was going to be, I should have looked closer at the measurements. The leather is GREAT quality, however the snaps continue to open. It seems that is also is a repeat comment. I get many compliments on the bag and I would still purchase it again."

"Bought this bag for my mother-in-law, when it came I was a bit disappointed in the color. We decided on the brown, which isn't as rich and chestnutty as it seems in the picture. "I purchased the Red and Darkbrown bag. I love big purses so I was quite impressed by the size. I though the leather would be softer but you need to keep in mind that this is rawhide leather so It's not processed as much. The bag is very stylish and I have had no problem with the snaps staying closed or the color fading. I would defintely purchase another color in this style. You cannot beat the price for a real leather bag!"

"Nice looking bag but it is heavy so by the time you get your stuff in it it weighs a lot. Also the snaps keep opening, a minor nuisance. But I did get lots of compliments and it is a great piece of leather."

"The picture does not do a good job showing off the actual bag. I thought it was a softer, leather but it is actually very firm and texturized. With that said it is very durable and roomy so I decided to keep it. I was able to fit my class books in the bag with plenty of room for additional items. Nice compartments and pockets for your phone, wallet, ect. I got some compliments so that's a plus. The only part of the bag I do not like is the side and bottom buttons. For appearances they might look nice but they are not practical and they keep coming undone. I have to continuously keep snapping them in place. Overall it's durable and reliable, it's an excellent buy."

"This bag is just ok. The snaps on the corners constantly come undone. The quality of leather is not the best. I have purchased other Amerleather bags in the past and have been much happier with them. Although, the size is large- there is no divider inside. I will keep it for traveling purposes...but aside from that....its not a great everyday bag."

"I bought this bag about a year ago in a dark brown color. I think it is a great buy for under $50. It is real leather that is good quality. I find it to be very durable. Since I had for a year, it still looks very new. It is very stylish and I get a lot of compliments on it. The colors listed in description is exactly the color of the bag. I absolutely love it. It is a great everyday bag. I love the fact that the bag is really big and I can fit a lot into it. I would definitely recommend this bag to a friend."

"My red purse was a knockout. Everyone commented on it. That lasted about 2 weeks; then it began to fall apart. The snaps came undone constantly -- very annoying. The color began to peel off/wear off. It was a two-week purse. Now I'd look like a bag lady if I were to carry it, but it sits alone in the closet, never to be seen again. Do you think Goodwill might want it? Seemed like a good deal at the time, but I'll not buy a purse online again."

"When I first bought this purse i absolutely loved it, and I received many compliments on it. But after a short time the handles turned white-like the leather was wearing off. So don't expect it to look good for long. The inside pocket also ripped shortly after I got it. Great price and looked good for a couple months, but I was expecting it to last a lot longer than that."

"I bought this bag in dark brown last year as an everyday bag for college. I commute to school and use the bag for the like of my laptop, textbooks, and notebooks. The leather is still really nice, soft and surprisingly sturdy considering it has been through an entire school year. In fact, my mom liked it so much, that around holiday time I went and bought her the same exact one.My only complaints are that the three buttons on the bottom of the bag get scratched very easily and the handles have faded quite a bit. But I think these are minor things and do not detract from the overall appeal."

"My girlfriend had this bag in dark brown and I loved the look of hers and the size. I ordered the brown color which was nice when I received the bag. However, the leather is peeling only after a month of regular use. The sides of the bag have white spots as well where the color has seemed to rub off. The snaps keep coming undone which can be annoying and the outside front pocket has wholes in the lining. The bag looks good and I will continue to use it until it looks really bad. I probably wouldn't order another bag from this manufacturer again. Overstock has been great, however."

"The bag was bigger and bolder than I had imagined, but it was fashionable, roomy and convenient. I started liking it. I used it very gently, but in a couple of weeks the leather started showing signs of wear which I thought was unusual for a good leather product. I am now trying to call for a return / exchange- not sure if it is possible, but wanted you guys to know"
