Story Behind the Product

J. Brama of Ghana has organized and taught many drumming circles over the years. The Bogolabo is a 'sister' drum to the Djembe drum and is just as powerful. The only difference is the distinctive ring around the base. The drum face is made of dried goat skin and the rope is doubly strung to ensure a long-lasting sound. Brama has been a drum carver over 10 years and supports his large extended family with the income from his trade.
