"Bought this for my 92 year old mother in retirement home. Easier to use than microwave for her. Heats quickly and then turns off--a big safety factor. A little larger than I anticipated, but fits nicely on her counter like Mr. Coffee 4 cup pot I bought also. It also shuts off after brewing."

"Electric kettles are hard to get in stores in my region for some reasons. The kettle first seems shorther than another on we had before but it is the same volume, it's just slightly wider."
