"It always seems risky to not be able to feel and see a product before you order, but with the return policy I chose to chance it. The fabric is very nice, right size. Buttonholes look like a beginning seamstress. I ordered the ivory and what arrived is more a soft gold. It works, but was a bit of surprize! That would be my only caution--the color may fool you.I'm gaining more confidence in ordering from Overstock. Customer Service has gone the extra mile to make things right when they were not. Thanks."

"Heavy, high-quality, durable fabric; great value for the money. The dye is lovely and matches Overstock's swatches (I purchased the platinum). Not decadently soft by any means, but hopefully that will improve after a few more washes. I didn't notice significant shrinking, however it does wrinkle terribly. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend this product."

"I purchased this set for my bedroom and am overall happy. I went with the "platinum" and it has much more of a bluish tone than I thought, but is still beautiful. Hoping that it looses some of the stiffness after a few washes, but very high quality, heavy material. I think it is a great buy for the money."

"Finally found a high quality duvet cover. It washed up really nice and we didn't even have to iron it. It almost fits the down comforter perfectly. The only problem is that the pillow cases are huge, not for a queen bed, but maybe for a CA King. So I gave those away as I don't use that size pillow. It was the duvet cover I was really needing any ways. I'd recommend this to anyone, but with that heads up regarding the pillow cases not fitting right."

"This Duvet cover is great! I have a queen size bed but ordered the king size with a king size comforter to go with it. I had tried the queen size and it was small on my deep mattress. This cover is even silkier than the 1200 TC that I had on my bed before. I love how the button closure is about 10" from the end so when it is on the bed both ends look finished. Just love the feeling of softness and it makes my husband and I want to stay in bed much longer (that is, if we can keep our two cats off of it)."

"I recently purchased a top of the line duvet and wanted high quality linens to go with it. I have never owned 1000 thread linens and expected something really luxurious. The duvet cover is high quality and I am happy with it, but it is not as soft or as luxurious as I had expected. I don't know how hotels manage to keep their duvets looking super smooth. Mine looks slept in, which is what you would expect. I wanted a puffy duvet and achieved this with a king duvet and queen cover. I wish I could find a duvet cover that is soft but does not crease."

"Duvet cover not quite what I expected. It was not a solid white pattern, it had a square pattern. Fabric not as soft as you would expect for 1000 count and it runs small. I have a queen and could have very easily used a king."

"Finding a quality, solid (no stitchings, stripes, etc.) duvet cover is harder than I thought, let alone finding one that's affordable.I found this duvet cover to be of a great value. The fabric is pretty thick, but soft and smooth.The only reason why I could not give 5 stars is that, like others commented, the buttons were not sewn on well. After washing before usage, I could not unbutton the buttons without ripping off the threads that were tangled around them. If the buttons had been sewn on properly, then it would be a 5."

"Purchased the Taupe King size duvet. Not easy to find oversized king Duvet covers. So when I saw this one i jumped on it! The warehouse made a mistake and sent me a sheet set! A quick call to customer service and problem solved...no run around...they made the exchange quick and hassle free! I got my duvet 2 days later!!! The Taupe is a rich earthy tone. But not too brown...quite neutral. A previous review described purple tones...I see NO purple! The Overstock picture of the Taupe is accurate. The duvet washed and dryed without wrinkles! The fabric is nice and soft..very well made! I am very pleased with my duvet and the great customer service!!"
