"The stand fit together easily and is a good weight. It arrived quickly, along with the hammock ordered. The only challenge we faced was fitting the hammock to the stand: stand too short or hammock too long?! We resolved the issue with a piece of rope acting as a pulley, so bottoms clear the ground! As for durability, no way of knowing yet."

"This was so easy to put together! I have wanted one of these for a long time and am so happy to finally have it. It will be easy to store during the winter too - just take it apart and put it under the bed or in the shed until next spring. Love the design and will be anxious for next spring and summer to use it again. Thanks for another quality product."

"I'm totally satisifed with this item. It's very well constructed and so easy to assemble. I was surprised that it was as heavy as it is. It's a bit challenging to drag around the yard, but the up side is it's quite substantial. I would buy this again."

"The grass is cut, a cool breeze is blowing, cold drink, etc. and you flop in the hammock. It can't get any better than this. Strong hammock stand, sturdy and easy to assemble - just like the instructions said."

"The hammock stand holds a double hammock perfectly. It is easy to move for lawn mowing etc. The color is subdued and fits in well into a backyard setting. It has been a great asset to our family's outdoor recreation. I wish I had not put off buying one for so long. I highly recommend this product for value as well as functionability."

"I bought this great stand from Overstock 3-4 years ago. I just have to find the right hammock. The first one fell apart when I left it outside and the second one, a green polyester woven hammock which I bought a few weeks ago from Overstock is apparently no longer available. It sinks nearly to the ground with one person in it but it fits the hammock stand and even uses the same hardware, so I have an extra bag of hooks, chains, etc. These were both "double hammocks". Can't beat shipping to front door. Believe me, it is so heavy you don't even want to try to get it home in a car. Don't go the the home centers, buy from OVERSTOCK!""
