"Bought this as a replacement auto charger for my TomTom One XL. The original cable went bad at the connection to the base of unit almost immediately. Nothing worse than having the unit stop working in the middle of nowhere with no hardcopy maps as backup. When set up for the car charger, everything works great except that the connected cable sticks out too far from the cigar lighter plug when plugged in. It comes close to getting bumped every time the gearshift lever is moved out of/into park. Maybe a 90 degree offset USB plug to make the assembly shorter? Otherwise it works great and was a VERY good price."
