"The rod is very solid and well made. It is expandable to fit your bathroom at whatever size it is. Fairly easy to install and it looks expensive"

"This is the second time I have ordered a curved shower curtain rod from Overstock.com. This is NOT the same rod I got the first time. The picture on the website looked the same but when the rod set came it was not the same one. What I don't like about this set is that the rod telescopes which means it has a seam. The first rod I got did not have a seam and the shower curtain opens and closes easily. When you have a seam in your rod it's hard to get past the "bump" the seam creates. Over time you end up tearing your liner.I do like the roller balls they send in place of the traditional shower curtain rings. The liner is fabric and is very high quality which is why I rated this a "4" overall. Good price too on the set, if you go to your local bath store it will cost you more."

"The item has not been installed yet. I am waiting for a friend to take time in removing the glass doors and installing the pole which I prefer over the glass doors."

"We were having major issues with shower curtain "blow-in" with a standard, straight rod. This curved rod adjusts to the exact length and fits into the existing mounts perfectly (make sure your wall mounts have a hole to put a small screw or bolt through to keep the rod from rotating). Blow-in problem has been solved completely. Also, the price is right - possibly the cheapest curved shower rod I've seen anywhere."

"the product is nice the only problem I have is that the packaging was all damaged and it did leave a small scratch on the curtain rod. Really unacceptable. the scratch wasn't noticable enough for us to return the item, plus I would have needed to wait an additonal 10 days or so and couldn't. Overall product good, shipping horrible!"

"I ordered the oil-rubbed bronze. It is lighter than the rest of my oil-rubbed bronze - closer to copper. Opened the package, took it out, and discovered that the flange will not fit over the rod like it should. This meant that I had to find a tool to shave down the hole on the flange so that the rod would fit in. Not really what I wanted to do with something that was supposed to fit without modification. Also, the screw holes in the flange bracket are made so that you set the screws first, then put the flange on and twist the bracket to lock it into place. The screw heads are larger than the holes, so that didn't work either."

"These are EXACTLY like the ones purchased for more in the hardware and department stores.I have one of each. Only much cheaper and better hardware color options. I really like mine, but agree with the other reviewers who said that the hooks caught too easily. Buy the roller hooks if you want to make the investment..."

Great product,September 29, 2009

"I first saw one of these in a hotel and was so glad it was available here. It makes showering in a bathtub so much more comfortable because it keeps the curtain away from you. The rod is good quality and priced well."

"We ordered two bronze curved shower rods. Both were very difficult to install, primarily because the bracket holes for the screws were too small. We had to enlarge the holes...how many people have the tools to do that? And one of the rods sags in the middle. We're still trying to fix that problem. Wish we had ordered standard rods instead, but it's too late now!"

Add some room to your shower,September 9, 2009

"This curved shower rod is attractive and functional. I purchased the oil rubbed bronze and while it isn't quite as dark as most of the oil rubbed bronze shower curtain rods I have seen - it still looks good. It is easily installed and actually adds quite a bit of room to your bathtub shower. It does have one problem - where the rod slips into the other side of the rod it creates a ridge that the shower curtain doesn't easily slide over. Not a problem for most of my family, but a problem for my youngest daughter as she is too short to help it over the ridge. Also, the package it was delivered in looked filthy on the inside. The dust wiped right off of the rod, but it was off putting. All in all it looks great is reasonably functional and I will be purchasing another for my other bathroom."

"I was looking for curved shower rods after I moved into my new home. Elsewhere I was seeing prices from $45-$60. Overstock had the best price and shipping did not take long at all. A friend installed the rods without any major problems and now I have the room and the look I was wanting in my upstairs master bathrm. and guest bathrm. When I finish my bathrm. in the basement I will definitely order this shower rod again."

"I bought this for my freshman in college. She is very pleased with the color and the extra room that this shower rod is able to give her. For everyone who has an 18 year old, you know they can be very picky at times, so her vote of approval has won me over."

"Great product and value. Looks very nice and adds extra room. Curtain hooks do however catch on the rod because of 2 piece rod. Would suggest mounting rod with 2 part end opposite of where you would slide curtain open, or use the hooks with rollers. Very pleased and would buy again."

"I had purchased this rod from a large discount store for twice the price and returned it to keep this one. Nice quality, seems to add space to the shower. Easy to install yourself if you have the tools around the house."
