"This was inexpensive, but when you put the ipod in the docking station, it's really hard to press the buttons of the ipod. Also, I didn't realize an iphone does not fit."

"Like many of you, I've still got a large number of CD's as well as a newer Ipod.This player allows accessing both parts of my music collection, normally storedand played in my living room, in my bedroom as well. The player works verywell for both CD's and the Ipod, and charges up the Ipod as a bonus. It hasa variable spacer device to accomodate a range of Ipod widths, which will allwork as long as they have the basic Ipod connector on the base.The sound is reasonable for a small boom box, but my only complaint isthat there is some kind of rattle at higher volumes. I haven't chased thisdown to see if there is an easy cure, but there might be.Anyway, I would say it was a very good value for the price."

"This isn't a bad product it's just mediocre.The tuner section is poor, stations that come in strong on my other radios are weak and the tuning wheel is very small so that you may need a magnifying glass to see the numbers. Docking the iPod can be tricky If your iPod has a cover you may have to remove it to insert it into the little cradle and because of the angle of the swing out cradle connecting can be nerve wracking at first. The price was attractive and the sound from the iPod isn't bad (not great). I haven't tried the CD player yet and I haven't used it with batteries so far. All things considered I'm not unhappy about this purchase, I use it to keep me company around the house while I do chores, mostly listening to podcast and music."

"For the price, this unit was a very good deal. All I wanted was something to play cd's, hook up my mp3 player to, and use the fm radio... and it had to be portable. All the features work great, the sound quality is what I expected with a little 'boombox', and it shipped to me quickly. The ac cord was a little snug, but it is easier to plug in now. I feel I made the right choice, not only about the unit, but who I purchased it through also."

"I ordered one for my wife, it came in (great shipping and on time)...it took less thanfive minutes to hook up and start playing...the sound quality and overall use is wonderful.We then ordered one for my daughter and fixing to order two more for Christmas presents (hopefully they still have them) for my grands...this is one awesome piece of equipment...great great great and Overstock will do you right everytime..Happy in Georgia"

"This is a good little boombox.If you are looking for a large, loud stereo than this is not for you. We use it with our ipod nano, video, and touch and it works great! It is not super loud but it does have good sound quality for a litle boombox. All of the ipods features came be accessed while it is in the boombox. The AM/FM works well.If you have a sound problem when playing your ipod check the volume and eq settings on your ipod first it may make it sound better to you. Invest in the warranty....just in case."

"This Ipod docking system is just what I was shopping and looking for. I shopped around in local stores and on the Internet for several weeks and noted the prices and features for Ipod docking systems. This unit has all the features I need. The docking features are easy to use, the sound quality is excellent, the outside is durable and the unit is small to fit many places. I like it very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a docking system. Also Phillips has a warranty for it and I believe it is actually new."

"The CD player is what I use the most. I have the player on a table so it is not being moved around and it is plugged in. The sound is tinny and the CDs start skipping about half way through (even new CDs). I was hoping for better sound and more consistent playing. The player also sometimes seems to play songs faster than they should. A bit of a disappointment overall."
