"I had been looking in stores for a mini system, but they all seemed cheap and of poor quality. Its always risky to buy something without getting to physically see it first, but this was a pleasant surprise. The styling is classic and not like many other systems marketed towards kids. Also, the sound quality is awesome. The features like the Ipod dock, USB port and CD player all worked without a hitch. I can even pick up radio stations with this system that my previous system could not. This is a great little sound system."

"I purchased this item for my daughter. The item didn't come with any cord at all (had to purchase one). The CD player does not work. No directions came with the unit. Very static sound when turned up. I don't know If I will ever purchase from Overstock.com again. The return policy is horrendous!"

"I loved the modern classic look of this, and all the features it has. Sound quality is also quite good, and the FM radio was rich using the antenna. However, I am returning the 2nd Philips DCM230 iPod Docking Executive Audio System. I understand this item is sold as refurbished on Overstock, but I then expect it to be as good as new. The first one arrived with the beautiful metal face plate bent in many places, not due to shipping. Also, the CD player did not work, but being this item was going to be returned because of the damaged face plate, I thought maybe I just needed to reread the directions again regarding the CD player.So ordered the 2nd Philips DCM230 iPod Docking Executive Audio System. No damage on this one, looks nice, but, again the CD player does not work at all.So, I cannot recommend this unit. After having two in my home, and having issues with both of them, I don't think they are gone over well enough to insure you are getting a truly refurbished item."

"I have it now for almost a month and just love it. It looks great, it sounds great and there is more you could ask for. And the best thing is that it is cheap. I would pay twice the money I paid if I had to. I really recommend it to all."

"Sound quality is good for a little desktop system. In fact, it sounds better when the volume is cranked highter! The ipod and auxiliary options are easy to use and work well. I love that the remote controls the ipod too!"

"I bought this stereo not expecting a lot but I have been pleasantly surprised. The sound is great and the I-Pod doc is a great feature and easy to use. The overall look of the machine is also much better than what it appears in the picture. Overall, very happy."
