"Anyone who's ever done any serious work on today's automobiles and sophisticated lawn tractors know that hex (Allen) and torx keys are used almost exclusively. Gone are the days of philips-heads screws. Virtually all the Ford brake calipers use Allen (hex) head screws. As such, the old fashioned “L” shaped Allen wrench no longer cuts it when it comes to getting into those usual places. Even the valve covers on most Japanese automobiles utilize metric hex heads. This SAE set from Overstock is just the ticket for American made projects. They are strong yet flexible. These wrenches are well thought-out and accommodate a variety of tough-to-reach places with either end. The metal is drop forged with means that if you ever “round” off a square edge on the wrench, you can grind it down a few thousandths and your wrench is as good as new. When I got an email announcing this set, I purchased them sight unseen. At twice the prices they are a good deal, especially when you need them. Now I am just waiting for Overstock to announce that they've got a metric set of these handy little tools."

"I bought two of these sets for Christmas presents. One for my husband
and the other for my son. They look sturdy and I know they will enjoy
