Story Behind the Art
This hand-crafted item and many others come from a third generation family run factory in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

"This is the third screen we have purchased. All the same color and style. Beautiful construction at an amazing price. They came faster than expected. Even though the box looked a little beat up, the superior packaging left not one single mark on the screen. There is obvious asian attention to detail and it is clear they are made by hand, with only the slightest variation that adds to their custom made look and feel. These are an exceptional value and we would recommend them to anyone. That's why we've gone back for the third time to purchase other tscreens. You can't go wrong with this screen."
