"I purchased this coat several weeks ago so I have not had the chance to wear it in the cold yet. It is very nice...however, I did not find it to be true to size. I am 5' 6" and 108 lbs. . I ordered Medium because my arms are long...usually med. is just fine. This med. pulled in the back as soon as I had it on,and for me, this made the sleeves too short, though it looked very nice, it was uncomfortable, so I got it in large which is a little bigger fit than I prefer, but it's more comfortable...I also almost always have on an extra sweater when it's cold out so I need the extra room. It seems like it will keep me warm....I really like the length...about mid calf."

"I was skeptical about this coat because I couldn't decide on the size xs or small. I am 5'3" and 110 pounds. I ordered the xs after reading the reviews and it is perfect. It just came today and I tried it on with a medium/heavy sweater and it looks great. It feels a little constricting if I lift my arms up all the way, but if I had gotten the small I may have lost the beautiful fitted look the coat offers. This winter coat actually has a shape. I ordered the xs so that it would not be baggy, but rather curvy...it is exactly what I wanted. Now I am thinking of ordering the brown too!"

"Got this coat...and it's a pain putting on and taking off. The zipper keeps getting stuck along the way. This is extremely fustrating when you're in a hurry. Also though the length was long in the photo, however this is reaching me mid thigh. Not worth the price for the frustration."

"First it definitely runs a little small I bought the large and I am glad because I wouldn't have been able to get a chunky sweater in a medium. I love this coat. It's warm and stylish. It's long but not too long. A great looking winter coat that will really keep you warm in the winter :)"

"The Via Spiga Women's Black Satin Down Coat fits like a glove. I love it! The size chart was a little confusing because I am 5'8" 160lbs, 34" bust, 29" waist, but 42" hips. So I purchased a Size Large and it fits my bust, waist and hips just fine. I was concerned about the top being big and gapping, but that didn't happen. The coat is warm, classy, and wears well with dressess or jeans. I wish I had bought it earlier in the Season to have gotten much more use of it."

"overall this coat is okay. i do like the overall look of it, but for me the arm length is a little too short (i do have longer than average arms) and it's not as fitted as i would like (it's a little poofy in the front). but it's a great weight, on the lighter side, so i would say not great if you plan on being outside for long periods of time in it."

"This is a really nice coat you can wear for casual or semi-dressy functions. The satin looks really nice. I bought the medium because I'm 5'11 and have very long arms and wanted to be sure the arm length would work for me. It did! The arm length is almost perfect, definitely not too short. The coat isn't as fitting as I'd like it to be but I had to sacrifice getting the small to make sure that the arm length would be long enough. Going to see if I can't get it altered to be a little more snug on me. All in all, a good coat. Would recommend to a friend."

"I just received my xs coat in the mail today and the moment I pulled it out of the package, I knew I would be happy! The coat looks great with both jeans and a skirt with tights. The fit is nice, especially since I am petite--usually have a difficult time finding a coat that can fit me perfectly and look good on as well. I am 5"4 and the coat is neither too long or too short--just the right length. The only down side is that the coat is not that warm. I live in the midwest and the winters are extremely brutal here, so I needed something that is a little more warm; although the coat would be perfect for the fall. This was my first purchase from Overstock and I will definately shop again."
