"Very contemporary. This flatware feels expensive. Haven't used yet but I think I will buy another to complete. Probably for more formal use since each piece is pretty heavy. If you are looking specifically for lightweight spoons then you probably should not buy this set."

"I wanted our new flatware to be 'heavy' and to be better quality than our old set. This set arrived and we were tickled pink. They are very heavy but still balance perfectly when you're holding them. They haven't dulled or scratched in our dishwasher. They were even better than we had hoped. Also the look was fantastic. The online pictures don't do it justice. Besides the angled edges on the handles, they are curved on the handle. My only 'regret' when we had done the online purchase - was that they looked completely straight in the pictures. I was delighted when they arrived and saw that they are actually gently curved. This gives it a much better look, and makes it more comfortable to hold."

"This silverware is incredibly high quality. . .for any cost. At the price we paid, it is truly exceptional. The pieces are quite heavyweight and luxurious. They have been through the dishwasher a dozen times and come out sparkling. This is a very stylish and elegant flatware set that can be used either for everyday or as a "dressed-up" set. I am so glad we got these and give them our highest recommendation. It is very hard to find any sort of downside to this set. If you were to be overly critical, you might say that it is too heavyweight, but that's hardly a criticism."

"The simplicity and beauty of this silverware is exactly what I was looking for. It's heavier than I imagined and I needed to get use to the weight, but now that I have I wouldn't trade this set for anything.
I need to mention the butter knives... The blade is serrated roughly one and a half inches from the tip down. I actually was able to slice a fresh tomato perfectly. Wow!
The price at Overstock cannot be beat and believe me I tried.
I do have one suggestion. The packaging from the factory is an open design on the front of the box so each utensil type is displayed This caused a small mar/scratch in the exact same spot on each displayed piece. The dinner fork, salad fork, tablespoon, teaspoon and butter knife. It's not bad enough to return but was a disappointment,"
