"I have very thick, wavy hair and it takes forever to dry it. I had an amazing dryer that retails at $140 and I fried it over in Europe by using the wrong adapter. I wanted to cry. I didn't want to pay that amount to replace it so I checked overstock and chose this dryer. It's even better than the dryer I had before and it is lighter too. I would recommend this dryer to anyone especially those that have a lot of hair or thick hair. This dryer is amazing and the price is right!"

"This thing is like standing next to a jet engine!!! What usually takes 8-10 minutes to dry and style (I have THICK chin length hair) took about 90 seconds (I timed it). Love the long cord, love the settings, well worth the money,,, I would have paid more for this quality!!!"

"I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hair dryer. This thing packs so much power and really it's not as heavy as it could be considering this. I have to show everyone who comes over how strong this thing is. The best part is you can actually dry your hair with the cold setting to reduce any damage to your hair and you don't have to hold down a button the whole time like other dryers. I am like the other reviewer who wants a second just to have in case mine eventually dies. That will be a sad day but not for a while I'm sure."

"My 15 year old daughter has very thick, long hair. She nearly cried with frustration at the amount of time it took to dry her hair: minimum 30 minutes. Plus, the dryers would overheat and shut off. (She was using my 1875 watt dryer set on highest setting.) I made it my mission to find the highest wattage dryer I would without spending an arm and a leg. After shopping around, I was thrilled to find this high-watt dryer. I read the reviews and ordered it immediately. We counted the days until it arrived!Sweet relief! This dryer is light enough for her to handle due to plastic housing. It's very powerful and dries her hair in less than 15 minutes and has not overheated. I'm very pleased I no longer have to hear her fussing and complaining. This definitely is a winner with her and now she has time to wash and dry her hair in the morning before school. No more pony-tails! Very good product and a superb value for the money compared to other dryers out there."

"I love the power of this hair dryer. It dries my hair in about half the amount of time as my old 1875-watt dryer. I love that you can set it to blow just cold air, at full blast, without having to hold the "cold shot" button (although there is one of those on this dryer as well).I would recommend wearing earplugs while using this dryer, as it is somewhat louder than a regular hair dryer (probably because it is so much stronger). My (ever curious) husband measured the decibel level of this dryer the other day, and the level is quite high.I did not purchase the warranty for this dryer. I have been using it for a good month now, and it is still working just fine."

"I received my dryer in the mail yesterday and could not wait to use it. It usually takes me an hour to blowdry my hair and with this wonderful blow dryer it took me about 35 minutes...trully impressive. It is well made and super powerful. To all the ladies who have owned other popular brands before that dd not live up to the hipe try this one...you will not be dissapointed. As happy as I am with it I did want to mention that it not quiet and is a little heave but that is due to the quality materials used."

"Obviously for professional use with high quality cord and a blower that is more like a rocket engine. I love it and think it will last a lot longer than other consumer models. I don't know why they market it as quiet because it is not but I love the fact that it gives a huge blast with temp controls and cold shot and seems to be a high quality product.
