"I dropped my iPhone and shattered the touchscreen. When I went to have it repaired ($$$$$) I asked the guys there what the best case for iPhone was: Otterbox they all said. While they were out of stock while I was there picking up my phone, I found one here on Overstock for nearly 25% less than Otterbox.com.The case is great. Well, designed, phone works perfectly, no complaints. I only wish I'd have bought one PRIOR to dropping my iPhone on the driveway.By the way: the cost of this Defender case was a little less than 1/3 of the cost to repair my shattered iPhone. Think of it as insurance.One final note: tho the description here doesn't include it, the case does come with a hard plastic holster."

"I am purchasing my second OtterBox case for my iPhone. The first one got road rash recently from a fall I took while riding by motorcycle. This case saved my iPhone as well as my hide literally. Phone still works and looks like new. Everyone asks where I got a great looking case from. All iPhone functions work great with the case on. Only isue is watermark from having the protective (water resistant) clear screen but if you google otterbox or search on YouTube there are videos that will help you to cure that. Also had an otter box case on a blackberry and was able to sell said blackberry as almost new because it looked new or in very good condition because of the case. Only other issue is the clip on holster does not hold phone well but I used a ladies small hair scrungie to help hold it. If you buy this case you will be more than happy with it."

"I purchased this product to protect my iphone and have truly been impressed by its durability. The case arrived quickly and was very easy to put on. All of the ports to the phone still work great and you are still able to adjust the volume and switch on and off the ring button. It has a hard plastice shell that covers the entire phone and then a rubber sleeve that surrounds the plastice shell and secures it in place. The screen protector has been great and there is no problem at all using the phone while the case is on it. It also comes with a belt clip which I don't use but appears to be decent quality. The only downside (which doesn't bother me) is that it makes your iphone a little bulky fair trade off for all the extra protection that the case provides. It is a great product."

"The Pros:The Otterbox Defender is the ultimate iphone protection case. It assembles easy, it protects great, and it has a great feel to it. It is two pieces of har plastic that fit together perfectly, plus a silicone skin that wraps around the phone and fits like a glove. I droped my phone on a concrete driveway on the first day I put the Otterbox on. Not only was the phone perfectly protected, but the case did not have a scratch on it. None of those aluminum cases would do that. Plus the main button cover protects the button perfectly, without making it difficult to push, like other covers do. The Cons:The cover is very rugged looking and adds a lot of bulk to your phone. I am in the construction industry, so being out in the field I need something rugged. If you keep your iphone in your jeans pocket, this case is not the best for you. The silicone skin grabs to the linig of pockets and turns them inside out. Plus lint attaches to it and doesn't want to let go. Overall, it's a sporty rugged case that protects better than the rest."
