'When I was still quite young I knew I had an ability to translate nature into artful things of beauty. Because my life has always centered on animals and other natural themes, I use these as my subjects, usually interpreted in tropical woods. I particularly want to create wildlife and other animal themes in an exact, realistic and original way.'

"when first received, I thought it was very small for the price; however, after inspecting the detail in this one, I was extremely pleased with the work. I bought both this one and the comparable cat. I have had several favorable comments from people who have seen them. They are displayed on a table in my outside covered patio area and add very pleasantly to the "zen" mood."
