"This is the best shower head I have ever seen. It is solid, heavy, chromed metal. If there is any plastic in it, I can't find it. The head swivels, and the whole thing swivels at the base, in addition to the two spots where you can see the little turn handles in the picture. This was important because our shower head is too close to one side wall, so the water needs to be directed at an angle. I don't know how they do it, but the water comes out just like rain, where the drops are all bumping into each other - not like the little needles of water that you get with some low flow shower heads. (I left out the low flow adapter...somebody needs to explain to me how I'm saving water if it takes three times as long to do everything. If you want to save water, turn down the flow.) Even the hose is different, it's supple and slinky. The point where you sit the handle into the base, where you usually slide it into a c-shaped holder, is something I have never seen before. It's a ring that fits over a post. That takes a little getting used to, and someone who can't see well might have a problem with it. The directions were the usual. Bad with fuzzy black & white photos. But there aren't that many pieces anyway."
