"The quality of excellent. The set is a great value because of the number of pieces in each place setting. I love the colors. Perfect for a new Florida home with a monochromatic kitchen. However, be forewarned the set is bright & busy. So dishes are best suited for casual use & will only look good with solids colors."

"This is a beautiful set of china and very durable. Bought it for every day use but have used it for company. The price for this set of china is amazing. "These dishes are absolutely beautiful. They look much better in person then the picture. Before I bought them I went to a Villery store to see them. I would have bought them at the store but they couldn't match overstock's price. I received them about 3 days after I ordered them, they were very carefully wrapped to avoid breakage (my kids enjoyed popping the yards of bubble wrap!).I've only had them for a few weeks so I don't know how durable they are. I've been using them as my everyday dishes so they are always going in and out of the cabinet and dishwasher. So far so good. But I figure if one does chip or break, which I'm sure will happen at some point, I can buy individual replacement pieces through Villery."

"My first real set of fine china. I was worried they'd be delicate but I use them in the dishwasher and microwave. I love that the plate edges stay cool when removing from the microwave. Great casual pattern, and the white in the center frames doesn't clash with whatever you plate on it. I cook gourmet meals 2-3x per week and I love serving them on these plates. Got the V & B "Sofia" flatware to go with them as well."

"My wife and I argued about this purchase. She thought the fact that is was fine china would mean it was unsuitable for day to day use. I said, what the heck the price is right and the colors really work with our newly painted interior. If they scratch they scratch and we will replace them. The question is how long will they last? They are light weight, fine china. We put them in the dishwasher but not the microwave. We have only had them for a month. So far, no chips or scratches and we are not babying them.They shipped right away, well packaged, everthing intact. I like the look and I am happy with the purchase."

"This is the first time I ordered thru Overstock.com. The package arrived couple days earlier than I expected. The products were well done pack. They were in good condition. My 2 teenagers and I love this dinnerware set. We use them for daily dinner. They are light and nice looking. It would be nicer if the company engraves "made in Indonesia" on the product instead of using the removable sticker."

"I grew up with Villeroy & Boch Dinnerware, so when I saw this deal, it was a no-brainer. The price cannot be beat, the quality and durability of Villeroy & Boch products is top notch and there are many items (serving bowls, platters, pitchers etc.) that you can buy individually to complete your set. The colors are true to the picture, and the mugs add a contemporary touch, rather than having traditional coffee cups and saucers. If you go to the manufacturer's website and add all the individual items to your cart, you will end up with a total close to 500,-. The set arrived very well packed in about 4 days. I could not be happier."

"I have always enjoyed the Villeroy and Boch dinnerware patterns. The compony is very reputable and it shows in their products. I chose this pattern for my daughter will be moving into an apartment. The reason I chose this brand over others...durability. This dinnerware can be placed in the dishwasher. This brand dinnerware may be used in a formal dinner setting or may be used in everyday situations. I chose this particular pattern, because of the colors and liveliness of the design.
