"These are light, beautiful oversized plates that can be used as serving plates as well. They are actually made of bone china and not of stoneware as described. This is an amazing deal! Plates like these would have cost 10x as much elsewhere."

"This is ENGLISH BONE CHINA of the type you've seen in high-end department stores and fine dining restaurants. The china is an incredibly smooth, rich-looking white. The plates are a large coupe shape very similar to what you see in restaurants. If you entertain, this is an unbelievable deal on a very fine set of plates. I got this and a set of rimmed soup bowls and I am blown away I spent less than $100 on the service for 8. I am sure full retail on these sets is close to $500. Don't pass up this deal!"
