"I bought this camera for my daugher as a supplement to the expensive, multi-lens model they generally use. She wanted something small that she could keep in her purse or diaper bag and use to capture candid, spontaneous shots of the baby they're expecting. She loves it! The size is perfect for her intended use, very compact. She was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pictures that she's taken. It far exceeds her last SLR. This was an impulse purchase prompted by what I considered a good price, and it more than met my expectations."

"This camera is AMAZING! The price was so low and the quality of the pictures is so crystal clear. "I have been using the Canon Power Shot for at least 5 to 6 years. I started with the 10MP'S., that was great and still have it, used by our co. now. Got the 12MP's 2 years ago and have printed out so many amazing posters, 20 X 30's....the quality is unbeatable. Just bought this one for my sister and it is 1/2 the size of my 12MP I got 2 years ago. Just got back from a trip to Nantucket with it and it was small enough to have in our pocket the whole time. The zoom got amazing shots of far away ocan veiws. The pictures we printed look amazing. GREAT BUY, I WOULD HAVE PAYED MORE FOR THE QUALITY OF THIS CAMERA."

"We purchased a digital elph back in 2003, and have used it ever since. We love the camera and wanted another one after the old one started to wear out. We purchased this one, which is much the same only better! It is smaller, with a bigger viewing screen, and more megapixels. We took it on our recent camping trip and it was easy to carry along and took great photos. Both cameras do much better on outdoor photos than indoor photos, but we like the portability for outdoor use, such as hiking, sports activities etc. Goes right in your pocket. Love this camera!"

"When owning several bulky SLR cameras, a compact one with video function will come very handy especially when you go out with kids. I did some research online and without questions, Canon SD 780 is what I need. I can finally get rid of my old Casio Exlim and really enjoy this new toy. Only one little drawback is the button tend to be small. Overstock also has very good deal price wise."

"I have the older version of this camera and have enjoyed using it for the last few years. This updated version is just that, very updated. The screen is excellent, the zoom is phenomenal and recording with this camera is great. It is easy enough to figure out (although there are a lot of options (which is a good thing)) and if you spend the time to set things up the way that you want, it works really well. We take our camera everywhere we go and have particularly enjoyed the pets and kids function (which catches movement without making it blurry) and the sunset function (we have taken some great pictures of sunsets). I would highly recommend this camera to anyone, but especially those who like taking pictures, but do not want to lug a big camera around. Great Camera!!!"
