"I won't give a long audiophile description of this gem of Beatles' work, I just will tell you that I bought the entire remastered collection, having owned them on vinyl ages ago. I was surprised, but pleased. First, the collection is remastered and rereleased as it was in Europe. That was why I didn't recognize titles and album covers immediately! The notes are wonderful. They give an inside look at both history and recording notes. The differences in the way recordings were done early on, compared to later methods were fascinating. It was also interesting in the notes of Let It Be that these songs were recorded before Abbey Road, but not released until after, making it the last album released by the Beatles. All in all, one could not go wrong in purchasing any of the rereleased collection of the Beatles. I've loved them."
