"Shreds fine. But when you remove basket to empty, shredding unit retains a lot of confetti so you end up with bits confetti all over the place that you have to clean up. Poor design. Too bad b/c the price is good, the size is just right for a small home office, but it's annoying to have a mess to clean up each time. I've had other units w/baskets and this was never a problem."

"The appearance of the shredder is great, but the workmanship is not so great. The front panel loosely fits, which causes the power to go on and off (once the power button is pressed on). The grooves to connect the basket / front panel don't seem to be aligned correctly which keeps the shredder from powering on. The front panel does not tightly fit into the grooves. When the power remain on during use, I don't think you could get a better product."

"I like to shred the junk mail including credit card solicitations. I shred it without opening the envelopes.I like to shred my bills without opening them too -but they just keep sending me new ones!This shredder will do the job. It makes little pieces of confetti; not long slices of paper like the older shredders."
