"I bought these knives as a gift for my son, but I have had Henckels knives for years and can attest to the durability. They continue to serve me well even through cooking for a family of seven with much chopping and dicing. They have not lost any of the color in the handles through all the years of washing and will hold an edge for a long time. I recommend this brand of knives for anyone who is serious about cooking. They will not disappoint you!"
