When buying mirrors, especially for bathrooms, it is important to look for mirrors that are backed with silver. As steam from showers fill the room it combines with the metal in the mirror and the mirror will begin to rust. Double coated silver mirrors (as this one is) have the most tolerance to humidity and will last significantly longer. On a side note they also produce a warmer reflection than aluminum.
This mirror is also made using high-quality float glass instead of sheet glass. With sheet glass mirrors the reflection is just not right--it may be blurry in the distance or warp your image. Float glass mirrors have a much cleaner finish with much less distortion.

"I am using this mirror in a small bath off of our family room. I have brushed nickel fixtures but this mirror would also go with polished chrome fixtures. It has black in it so it would also look great with a black vanity. It was packed very carefully and arrived quickly.Couldn't be happier. "These mirrors are awesome...exactly what I'd hoped they'd be and more. The quality of both the frame and mirror is wonderful and the tight basketweave design would work with a lot of different styles. "We are remodeling our master bathroom and got rid of the wall to wall plate mirrors. These mirrors were just the right size and the silver finish is perfect with the brushed nickel fixtures. They are not over decorated but much nicer than many with just a plain frame. Our bathroom is on the modern side and these fit in perfectly."
