"Just wouldn't work properly. Finally figured out the problem. I had to send it back. It's impossible to find just a vcr anymore and I had high hopes because of the good reviews it has but it didn't work out. Customer service was helpful and friendly."

"We purchased this Magnavox unit to replace an old VCR that our very young boys use. It's really hard to find a good stand-alone VHS tape player these days. We consider this Magnavox a great value for the price and it's cheaper than the units sold at any local discount store."

"I bought this mainly for the VCR section, as I have a lot of tapes of classic movies. Unfortunately, this unit did not work properly. The VCR played tapes in a surging fast-slow-static manner. If you tried to rewind to re-view a scene, the VCR would clunk, screech, and turn itself off. The remote is not the same as the one described and shown in the Manual, having no Eject button as seen in the book. The unit made so much noise I was afraid it was about to eat my tapes. It is being returned --- so far Overstock has been good about the return."

"The Magnavox DVD/VCR was exactly what I had been searching for. Now my youngest grandchildren can watch all of the wonderful Disney videos I had purchased earlier. "OMG - even my grandmother could love this electronic!!! And, what a deal - for just about $50, I was able to purchase a dvd and vcr combo for my mother and she can actually operate it with ease.
