"So far, I have been pleased with the product, but without a manual it has taken me awhile to figure out how it works. Going online for the manual takes more time. Would have liked to have a manual with the shipment. Haven't used it much yet."

"This unit is simply mind blowing....I'm new to the world of MP3 and ipods, but I needed a unit that I could workout with (without dragging along my cassette) so I took a chance with this model. And was it ever a good choice. I had a bit of difficulity getting started, the downloaded instructions were somewhat confusing so I called my daughter over to explain transferring music from the computer to my sansa player. Once she got me going it was non stop for me. The audio and video quality is off the charts. Today technology is amazing. I've not been disappointed not one day. Now my workouts and bike ridings last longer because I'm listening to what I want and not what the radio or my cassette was dishing out. The unit now sells for a lot less than when I purchased it...... So by all means take the plunge I don't think you'll be disappointed."

"Despite not being of 'big brand' notoriety, this little Sansa Fuze is still excellent. Most consumer portable media players don't have an FM tuner nor mic to record, which puts this device one stride ahead of the rest.It's not the biggest device, but it has an expandable microSD card if you need more room for music, etc. Some expansion slots go up to 2GB, which can make your device jump from 4GB to 6GB, blowing away the competition once again.My only regret is it shipping with poor in-ear headphones, but that is generally how it goes with devices like this.In conclusion: tiny device, lots of features, excellent price."

"This was a gift for my husband. Now I'm sorry that I didn't pay full $ - we've had problems with it just not playing, shutting off and not re-starting, and now he tells me that some of the music (which plays well on the home computer) is skipping or sounds like it is going to fast forward.I don't know if it is just this particular unit or if it is a problem with the Fuze line.I hope we can return it and possibly get a different unit. I'd still like to give the Fuze another chance simply because it is easy to use, that is, when it runs properly."

"This was the smallest unit I could find, for portability, that still had a screen, for accessibility. Both the player and the radio sound great. I gave the audio quality 4 out of 5 only because the volume is limited and doesn't quite get as loud as I would like. For normal volume levels, it's great. Probably safer for my hearing though.I've used audiobooks with this unit too. 4GB is large enough for a a few books and a reasonably large number of songs unless your one of those with a really huge music library."

"This is my first MP3 player. I got it to listen to mostly audiobooks. For audiobooks, it has a slow, medium and fast feature so you can change the speed of the reader. This is nice when the narrator reads very slow or you want to get through sections faster. The other feature I really like is the ease of fastforwarding or rewinding. As you hold the function down on the wheel, it speeds up faster and faster so portions can be quickly located. Timers help to keep track of sections. Volume is easily adjusted.The video screen has amazing clarity despite it's size and audio is crisp with no distortion. FM radio presets are easy adjusted. I was able to navigate before I read the manual, despite my being a novice MP3 user. I downloaded software and upgrades from the Sandisk site. It added the Slot Radio icon to the device so I would be able to run preloaded SanDisk music cards.The only negatives for me are that it doesn't have a speaker and the earbuds are too large for my ears and fall out easily. External speakers and headphones are an easy fix. I purchased inexpensive car and a/c wall chargers and a protective cover with a clip from Overstock.com and all work very well with this device."

"the menu was so easy that my 65 year old, non-techno dad could figure it out. i bought one for him and in the process of loading it and setting it up for him i fell in love with it and had to have one for myself. the media converter makes loading video and pix effortless, and the resulting playback is sharp and the colors are popping. love it."
