"I use these recorders for market research, playing radio ads for respondents and recording focus groups.The unit is perfect for that use. The microphone can pick up all the voices in the room, and the playback sound quality is good. Even the speaker is pretty good considering the unit's size and functionality.I probably wouldn't use the recorder to play back music files, but for voice it's perfectly adequate."

"I needed this to record a conference and also speaker phone conferences. It was so simple just press record...stop. The only thing...I couldnt figure out how to set the date and a little confusing to upload but I figured that out on my computer."

"I really like this recorder the sound is perfect and it is very easy to use, i took it out of the box and was using it the next day... the only thing i notice was when i put the headphones on only one ear worked i couldn't hear out of both. I just checked the headphones and it wasn't them but just a minor thing for such a great product.... thanks so much"

"Very realistic sound but not stereo sound. So pick your best ear to listen if using earbuds. Lightweight, buttons feel solid, I think it probably does more than I have time to fiddle around to find out. Perfect for recording lectures."

"I use this in one of my classes, and have been happy for the two weeks in which I've used it. I always prop it on one of the front row desks to ensure the best quality, and I haven't been disappointed! The battery life seems to be waning (only after 2 weeks), but that is not a huge deal because I use it often. Overall, I am very satisfied. For the price, you can't beat it!"

"Well aside from paying way too much for shipping and getting an empty promise for a refund, the LCD doesn't light up which makes it almost impossible to use when there isn't light. Don't order from Overstock.. they provide false promises and bad products"

"I use this recorder in my lecture hall to record lecture and it works great for that. The quality of the recordings is perfect. The buttons are all very sturdy - my last recorder had a button that became shaky after hitting the rewind button too much. This is very convenient because I can just upload the lectures onto my computer like a flash drive, although if you want to just listen to the recordings from the recorder it works very well too. One feature I really like is the "slow" function because I can slow down the recordings of the lecture to a pace that I can understand very well since my professor speaks fairly quickly and with an accent."
