"perfect happy new year present",
September 6, 2007
"I received this sewing machine as a present from a freind of mine, and couldnt be more thankfull to her, she didnt even know what a good thing she bought me. I always wanted to know how to sew but never had a chance to learn how to do it .When I received this machine I went to buy patterns, first I was abeginner but after a few weeks I learnt how to sew and almost finished new drapes for my room. was worth every dollar paid for this. Pays to invest, great price, great seller, easy to use, never had such a good experience with an item.I recomend this for all my freinds to get it as a "happy new year present. ""

Good basic sewing machine,
September 5, 2006

"The
Rex USA 18-stitch Aluminum Body Sewing Machine is a good basic sewing
machine. Since it is made in China, some of the instructions contain
English errors. Mechanically it seems to be very sound, but it runs
surprisingly loud and rough. Normally I sew on a card table, but I had
to move this machine to a very sturdy wooden table because it about
shook the card table to pieces. On the sturdy table, though, it is
fine. Another drawback, in my opinion, is that the foot control tends
to run only at high speed. I prefer a more moderate stitching speed,
which is hard to achieve with this machine.
I've found the quality of the stitching to be very good and reliable,
so I am not unhappy that I bought it."

"the worst sewing machine i ever purchased. The belt was off. the tension was on crooked. it took al ot of time to get it right. I wanted to throw it out in the garbage, that's how much i liked it. Best of all it was a Christmas gift to my daughter in law. the belt gets stuck and then it doesn't sew at all. No I do not like it and probably will never order on line again."

"Cheaply made machine. Instructions do not match machine. There is no information regarding warranty, customer service or where to get replacement parts. I can't even figure out who makes this thing. The machine often jams on all but the most simple stitches. The motor control pedal does not afford a slow feed rate. Save the $100 and put it towards a real machine."
