"I just had this fan installed and it is beautiful to look at...further, I like the way the fan was structured...Solid and Quiet...that is what you all want when buying a ceiling fan. Trust me.
One word of caution, you will need a 3/4" rod (not 1/2") rod if you want to hang it. I had a 1/2" rod and had to buy a new one as I didn't know that before and the box didn't say what size the rod would be either.
Other than that, you will love this fan...
one happy customer."

"I oredered this fan a few weeks ago, it was delivered 4 days later. My husband put it up 3 day ago, so the assembly can be done on your own, althought it took us 2 hours to put it up. It makes my living room look a lot brighter and the fan works at a great speed. The one thing I should mention is that although it sais that it can be hung at an agled celing, you will need to buy and extension rod for it since it does not come with one. The price is not a great bargain, but considering the shipping is $3 and the way it looks, I'm happpy with it."

"... I bought two of the exact same model and when they arrived they had two different blade finishes/colors and two different shades of lighting. I don't know if this latter difference is because of the bulbs, or the glass globe over them, or what, but the fans don't match. Didn't find this out until too late to return, because of scheduling the electrician. They work great though!"

"The Palermo is just a great fan! This is the second one I have purchased. I bought the first one on Overstock about 20 months ago for the babies room. Installation was quick (mind you, I was replacing an existing fan) and very gratifying. It provides quiet gentle air circulation, or if needed, powerful air clearing ... which is apparently needed every so often. The baby's room has soft lighting, so when needed, the fan's overhead light can completely illuminates the room. The remote is a must when you have a baby in your arms. Now that I have a second one on the way, it seems only logical to get a second one. Also the design is very clean, so you don't walk into the room and say "Look a ceiling fan!" I would recommend this model."
