Good product, and not expensive.,June 14, 2006
By Debbi 'with an I' =)from Haverhill, MA
"This would get my vote for 'best bargain on the net'! My doctor advised I needed to exercise, or else I was facing heart attacks. I needed something easy to use, without a lot of things I was never going to use, and something I can afford!! I decided on an elliptical since you can work the upper and lower body at the same time. I did a lot of shopping, as inexpensive units I've researched typically do not hold up well. This is one of the units I had heard good things on, both on the product, and the company. The price was right, and now that I have it, I have to say the reasearch was worth it. It's a good little unit, and does just what I need. The screen is easy to read, and I find myself using it regularly now as it's easy to just hop on for 5 minutes. I've been doing that twice a day now (it's about all I could do to start), and I'm seeing results. It's only been 2 weeks too! I'm happy with it, and would reccomend it to anyone that doesn't want to spend a fortune on something."

"Takes long time to assemble. Instructions not very clear. But good for the price. I accid. cut some wire so my display doesn't work, but the actual exercise machine gets the job done."

Good product for the price,May 1, 2007
By dmg09from CT
"Good product for the price...if you do not want to spend the big bucks for a "gym" quality machine. Some reviews stated that the machine makes noise once in use; we found if you tighten the screws enough and use a little grease you are good to go! Assembly took approximately 1 hour with 2 people working on it."

My first eliptical,April 29, 2007
By DS0424from Kalamazoo, MI
"This machine actually works fantastic for being my first exercise equipment purchase. It was affordable, small enough to stay out in my small apartment, and it's pretty quiet too. The only problem I've seen is that I get so into the running, one of the running arms goes off track. Minor flaw though. It was a GREAT purchase. Oh, and it was delievered in no time at all."

Not bad at all,April 26, 2007
By LJinCAfrom Bay Area, CA
"For the price, the quality is really good. It's not gym standards by any means, but it does the basics. There are different levels of resistance, you can go in reverse, and you can choose to work out your arms or just hold on to the handles. It's a pinkish/purple color, which I didn't realize, not that it matters but I thought I'd point it out. The assembly didn't take more than 2 hours total. It was pretty easy. The thing that took the longest was unpacking all the parts. Overall it's a good machine for the $$ and feels durable, and like it will last for a good amount of time."

Very Average,April 26, 2007
By CKegfrom Dallas, TX
"It's not the best elliptical out there, but for the price, it's good enough. The steps constantly fall off track unless you are very careful or VERY light (under 100 lbs). If you're looking for something that just gives you the ability to get a little cardio going, this product will work"

WISE INVESTMENT,April 24, 2007
By RAVENJfrom BROOKLYN, NY
"I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY CARDIO EXCERCISE . I AM A BIT ON THE HEAVY SIDE SO I USE IT TWICE A DAY TO ACCELERATE MY RESULTS. I'VE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND I CAN ALREADY SEE CHANGES IN MY PHYSICAL APPEARANCE!!! IT'S A BIT COMPLEX TO ASSEMBLE AND IT TENDS TO SHIFT IF YOU'RE GOING TO FAST BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT'S MONEY WELL SPENT."

it does the job,April 2, 2007
By PlainJane12from Boston
"It wasn't difficult to put the elliptical together but it did take awhile, maybe about an hour, or a little over. The problem was the instructions, which were kind of vague and not very detailed. None of the parts were labeled for easy assembly so I just relied on the pictures to match up what needs to go where. I bought the machine for my parents who are elderly. I have used it as well and it does the job. It gets squeaky sometimes and it's not the highest quality machine like the ones you might find at a fitness club but it serves its purpose. It's a basic machine so if you're looking for bells and whistles, you might want to spring for a more expensive model. It doesn't have the most solid construction (it does shake a little if you're going pretty fast) but it hasn't fallen apart or anything. My parents have been happily using it for over a month and they've had no complaints. They're getting their exercise so I'm happy with it. If you just need something to get you a little more active, this will do the trick."

"I'm exctited about my Elliptical machine, I haven't had it long, so I have yet to see any results from working out on it, but I'm more than sure I will. The price was very affordable and Overstock had it delivered as promised, on time. I very happy with this purchase."

elliptical,March 26, 2007
By raindae
"Other reviews mention the time involved in putting this together which I concur with. It took about 4 hours total over 2 evenings to get the entire thing assembled. It seems to run quite smoothly though now that I've got it going - none of the squeakiness mentioned in other reviews. It's obviously not as bulky as the machines at the gym, but it's quite stable and the tracks glide smoothly."

Great unit,March 24, 2007
By goodgolliefrom Michigan
"I was a little scared about what to expect with this machine after reading a couple of the reviews. I believe it took about 10 days to arrive. My husband was able to put it together within 2 hours and everything on it works perfectly. It's a really nice machine for the price."

Fast Delivery, Good Value for the price,March 10, 2007
By Andyshankfrom Blaine, MN
"I ordered this on thursday and recd this the following Wednesday. Instructions are little hard to understand, so takes easily 3 hrs to put this through. If possible ask your friend to help you.
Once the toughest part of assembling is done, the elliptical does its job. Has Time, Distance, Calorie along with the Pulse meters. Requires 2 AA batteries which is not shipped with the Elliptical. Good Value for the price"

Good product/value,February 25, 2007
By TinaIfrom Leavittsburg, OH
"The elliptical took 2 hrs to put together myself and the instructions can be a little hard to follow. However, I use this product 3 to 6 times a week and my jeans are looser than before using this product. Overall I am happy with my purchase. The product works well and that was important to me. The machine is not quiet but I listen to my ipod while using it so it does not bother me. The only thing I wish this machine had is the ability to incline."

Not Worth the Money,February 17, 2007
By altruista6
"The machine does not feel very sturdy. The sliders for the pedals in the back fall off the track if you go too fast, or switch directions. It is hard to move around. The front thing rolls, but the pedals fall off the track when you try to move it. For the price, I would have expected slightly better quality materials. The overall design of the machine is poor and not worth the hassle."

Just ok,February 11, 2007
By Starph
"Bought the product as a gift for my parents in their 60's, they seem to like it and it suits their needs. For someone like me who is physically active and is used to quality gym equipment, you would dislike the quality of this machine. It's just ok. But for my parents it does the trick."

Works for me,February 1, 2007
By Hewzfrom Moundsville, WV
"I can't believe how quickly this arrived. I ordered two pieces of equipment, this and the Transformer 1500 machine, one shipped on Tuesday, one on Wednesday and they both arrived today, Thursday. Now that is service. I have to say, this was relatively easy to put together. It took me a little under an hour and I thought the instructions were detailed enough, without getting to technical. I finished putting it together right before I went to work, so didn't get the opportunity to try it out that much, but so far, I'm not complaining. Seems like a nice, little unit for the price. It may not have all the bells and whistles the health club machines do, but you can keep track of your heart rate, which is nice so you can stay in the THR zone."

Ok,December 19, 2006
By keckerfrom Columbus, Oh.
"I rec'd this and it took forever to put it together. When almost done I realized the computer screen was missing. That took calling Keys several times and waiting over a month for the piece I was missing. It works but it is very squeeky and not very sturdy. I would definately recommend spending a little more and getting a higher quality one."

"Even though I would never have been able to assemble this machine myself, it is fantastic once assembled. It is a great bargain for the price. If used, it will get the job done. So far, I have enjoyed having it as an addition to my home exercise equipment. I would most definitely recommend it."

Very Nice,December 6, 2006
By Jules001from Milwaukee, WI
"I just received my machine tonight (it had been shipped on a Monday and the carrier was ready to deliver it the Friday of that same week).
It was very easy to put together: the instructions give you pictures of each item and identify it (which is handy for those who don't know a carriage bolt from a cap screw). Then they give you exploded views of each step and label which parts you will need for that step. It took me about an hour to put it together.
The only drawback right now is the computer doesn’t seem to want to work as the instructions say it should -although it’s a good chance it’s the fault of the user, i.e. me :).
So far it is very stable, durable, good quality, and quiet. Overall I am very happy with this purchase."
