BUT you do NOT get all that you see!, August 4, 2006

"I ordered this cart because it appeared to have every feature I needed. After I put it together (I am a woman and it took 4 hours but I did it!) I realized it didn't have the shelf in the storage area behind the doors, NOR did it have the holes in the wood to infer a shelf belonged there! I would not have bought this if I knew it didn't have that shelf, since the area is approximately 23" high. I called customer service and was told it would be sent to the research department and that I would hear in 3 or 4 work days. (Research what? I told them I didn't get what was shown in the picture.) I called on the 3rd workday and was told to wait a day. I called at the end of the 5th workday and talked to a sympathetic person who finally agreed to refund me $20 so I can go buy a shelf and brackets and install a shelf myself. I think I let them off the hook too easily but I want this problem resolved. So don't buy this if you also want that shelf.

I did give it 4 stars because other than that it is a nice, sturdy and attractive unit. Beware that the unit is much lighter than what is shown in the picture (it is medium oak). But the color is attractive."
